James Goldtooth is from Window Rock, Arizona. A member of the Navajo (Dine') Nation, born in a

                 catholic mission in Lukachukia,Arizona. After graduating from Window Rock high school. He

                 joined the U.S.Army, was deployed overseas including Southwest Asia, Persian Gulf and Europe.

                 He participated in Desert Shield and Desert Storm, as a squad leader in a platoon with the 24th

                 infantry division. Part of the XVIII Airborne Corps. He served four years and was honorably

                 discharged after making the rank of sergeant. James worked as a civilian operating heavy

                 equipment at March Air Force Base. He continued to work in the construction field. Spent 8

                 years as a construction manager building cell phone towers, then 6 years as a supervisor and

                 site safety and health officer(SSHO) for a federal contractor.
